From July 1st to the End of August
The Groom a Horse Program, is a fun and knowledgeable V.I.P experience for ages 5+! The participant will learn how to groom and saddle a horse in preparation for the Fort’s famous Musical Ride, inspect the troops and be awarded with a special prize by members of the Fort’s Mounted Patrol!
For a small fee of $35* you will get the experience of a lifetime!
What’s Included:
-Participant’s Admission.
-Dress in a Mounted Patrol Serge.
-Grooming and Preparing a horse for the Musical Ride with your very own Mounted Patrol escort!
-Learning how the Mounted Patrol put the maple leaf on their horses.
-Honorary inspection duties.
-VIP seating and escort throughout the program.
-Special presentation made to the participant at the conclusion of the program.
*Please note that the Groom-a-Horse fee is per each participant. The Fort will only admit one booking and two horses per time slot, if multiple participants are booked for one horse, regular fees still apply! PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR TOUGH, CLOSED-TOE SHOES!
